With fifty years of leadership, the AAAED’s dedicated mission for access, equity and diversity could not be accomplished without its members. The leadership of our members is reflected in their passion for this work and their tireless advocacy. The AAAED is here to provide a space for those seeking a community, an opportunity to network with members of your profession, or have your views heard by policymakers.

Membership Plans

  • Individual Practicing Professional

    175$
    Individual Practicing Professional Members serve as equal opportunity, diversity, affirmative action and human resources professionals, or are actively engaged in those professions.
    Valid for 12 months
    • Has voting privileges.
    • May be elected or appointed to an office.

  • Individual Affiliate

    175$
    Individual Affiliate Members do not work as practicing equal opportunity, affirmative action, diversity or human resources professionals. They share the goals and mission of AAAED.
    Valid for 12 months
    • Does not have voting privileges.
    • May not be elected or appointed to an office.

  • Large Institution/Business/Corporate/Gov

    550$
    (More than 500 employees) This membership allows academic institutions, businesses, corporations, and government agencies to support the mission and goals of the Association.
    Valid for 12 months
    • Up to 5 seats can be assigned to this membership.
    • One member seat designated to vote on AAAED business.
    • One member seat can be elected or appointed to AAAED office.

  • Small Institution/Business/Corporate/Gov

    350$
    (Less than 500 employees) This membership allows academic institutions, businesses, corporations, and government agencies to support the mission and goals of the Association.
    Valid for 12 months
    • Up to 3 seats can be assigned to this membership.
    • One member seat designated to vote on AAAED business.
    • One member seat can be elected or appointed to AAAED office.

  • Professional Organization/Affiliate

    410$
    This membership is designed for organizations that support the mission and goals of the Association. Generally do not serve as EO, diversity professionals.
    Valid for 12 months
    • Up to 3 seats can be assigned to this membership.
    • Does not have voting privileges.
    • May not be elected or appointed to AAAED office.

  • Retiree Membership

    50$
    Retiree memberships are for those individuals who have been active members and are not currently working in the equal opportunity, diversity, affirmative action and human resources professions.
    Valid for 12 months
    • Has voting privileges.
    • May be elected or appointed to an office.

  • Student Membership

    50$
    Student members are registered full-time undergraduate or graduate students at an educational institution. They should be interested in or engaged in EO, diversity, human resources, or related field.
    Valid for 12 months
    • Does not have voting privileges.
    • May not be elected or appointed to an office.
