Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
Section 504 applies to any program or activity that receives federal financial assistance. This includes a vast array of entities, such as:
Public schools, colleges, and universities
Hospitals and healthcare providers that accept Medicare or Medicaid
State and local government agencies
Many private organizations that receive federal fund

Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)
A federal agency responsible for enforcing federal laws that make it illegal to discriminate against a job applicant or an employee because of the person's race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), national origin, age (40 or older), disability, or genetic information.
Japanese American Citizens League
JACL is the oldest and largest Asian American civil rights organization in the United States. The JACL monitors and responds to issues that enhance or threaten the civil and human rights of all Americans and implements strategies to effect positive social change, particularly to the Asian Pacific American Community.

The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights is a coalition of more than 240 national organizations fighting to protect, defend, and expand the rights of every person in the United States. Born out of the civil rights movement, for 75 years, The Leadership Conference has been an essential convener, thought leader, and advocate for public policies that make our country more fair and more free.
